I have to congratulate the Republicans for effectively diminishing everything you had going since Palin spoke. Instead of "icing the cake" he dropped it and I'll tell you why. The 911 "tribute" was almost as low as McCain picking Palin where he was trying to use fear tactics; news flash, that stuff doesn't work, we learned our lesson in Iraq from Bush. His judgement is his number one issue that I have and I don't hate him I just think he makes some bad decisions that diminish his intelligence and decision making skills. He's not being honest and if he's a maverick then this type of random thinking is scary. It is my opinion that in the past week, John McCain chose to exploit a woman and use her as a "campaign strategy" versus "governing choice" for America; Yes! Second, he exploited 911 and the victims to try to create fear. What kind of triubute is there for mass murder? Lets have a tribute to slavery, or genocide, or something of that nature. I bet anyone that move alone dropped him. Republican, Democrat, Independent, that was absolutely weird to tribute the deaths of Americans at a political convention? Please explain how that was cool? I like John McCain and I can tell he is a honest guy. I'm not voting for him, but I can see why people like him, who wouldn't? What scares me is that the main message that I saw was war, fight, war, macho, and that is too over the top. Sometimes you have to take a step back and pay attention to what you asked for. Tom Ridge said him self tonight, "JOHN BUSH" will continue to make personal decisions with our military. Do you think that women want to hear about fighting? I think he missed the boat and diminished all of the momentum he built up.
Palin is also a respectable figure, I'm not voting for her either. There's not enough she offers to convince the majority of Americans that she is what America needs. She's better suited as a governor, not as a VP and she does bring flare to the GOP, but independently comparing both sides, I really saw more of a "campaign acting performance" versus an honest testimonial. I might be jumping the gun since we've only seen her speak twice, but it seems like last night was an act. Regardless of her family, her religion, her experience, I cannot find myself supporting McCain and Palin over Obama-Biden. McCain does have experience, and he better since he's 72 years old, can't take that from him, I love him to death for fighting for Americans and I trust he loves America. On the down side he has shown me and it is my opinion that he cares more about winning the election than making the decisions to help America by choosing Palin. Be honest, lets keep Obama out for a second, there are at least 4 better choices for GOP vp? Can you at least agree with me on that? She could have had a good role in governing, but she was a desparation move and nothing anyone can say will change my mind on that one. Palin is cool, I agree, but her world is different than mine, we dont get checks from oil companies, or fish around here for a living, we get our hands dirty and live in cities with city problems. I'm not buying it. Last, I saw this video http://www.thedailyshow.com/video/index.jhtml?videoId=184086&title=sarah-palin-gender-card and was shocked at all of the comments being made this past week without acknowledging comments made not so long ago, please take a look and comment.
Please dont respond with rude comments, I did crack a couple but please dont be offensive. thanks.
